Media Accreditation Pass
All media representatives attending WMACi25 MUST be accredited. The media accreditation pass will provide access to spectator areas and dedicated media zones within a venue. Media zones include media viewing and work areas at competition and event venues, as well as the Media Center. Approved media credentials will be available at the Media Center.
Ability to book field of play
Accredited media will have the opportunity to book field-of-play opportunities at the Media Center. Spaces are limited, and early bookings are encouraged. To access the field of play, accredited media must have made a booking, be wearing a media bib (sourced from the Media Center), and be escorted by a media volunteer. Media personnel must surrender a government-issued ID (driver’s license, passport) when being issued a media bib, which will be returned upon returning the media bib.
Media Center
All accredited media will have access to the dedicated media facilities within the Media Center, located at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center. Presentation of their accreditation pass is required for access.
The Media Center will be open at the following times: 10:00 – 22:00
Media kits, WiFi, and printing facilities will be available within the Media Center.
Media Credentials
The WMACi25 LOC will issue media credentials to members of the working press, which is defined as a paid employee or representative of a known and established media organization. Media organization is defined as a person or entity that disseminates information to the general public through print, digital, radio, television or other accepted means of mass communications. Having been accepted at other WMA events does not guarantee acceptance.
Media that receive credentials must be on assignment for a WMACi25 LOC approved media organization as defined above. The WMACI25 LOC reserves the right to deny any and all requests for media accreditation and reserves the right to revoke media credentials issued at any time. All media personnel must abide by the rules and regulations established by the WMACi25 LOC. All media personnel who wish to attend the WMACi25 must submit a media credential application below.
Credentials must be worn and visible at all times during the event. Each credential is issued specifically for the media personnel accepted through the credential process. Any media outlet that wishes to change the names of its credentialed media must submit a new credential request.
Credentials may not be given or loaned to another person for any reason. Failure to adhere to this will result in the loss of credential for all parties involved.
